Periodic Confirmation of Ownership is an action that needs to be completed around every 6 months to confirm you still own the car. This is to protect the account and personal data of both you and the future owner of the car. In order to confirm you are still the owner of the car, please select the image of the car shown in the garage and request a passcode. The code will appear on your car’s infotainment screen for 10 minutes and can then be entered in to your My Honda+ app to confirm ownership.
If you do not complete Periodic Confirmation of Ownership within the grace period (14 days), it will expire, and your Connected Services subscriptions will be suspended.
Additional information, if needed: If you have the In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot subscription, this will still be active. Connected Services can be re-instated before the last Connected subscription expires. If you do not know the expiry dates for your subscriptions please contact Honda Contact Centre. You can contact the Honda Contact Centre by email (connectedservices.support@honda-eu.com) or by phone (0345 200 8000). In the instance that you do not confirm ownership by the time that your last subscription expires we will de-enrol your vehicle and you will lose access to your connected car profile. If you wish to continue using services after this period, you will need to visit your Honda dealer to have these services reactivated.
