For now, the only models available to be reserved online are:


  • XL750 Transalp
  • CB750 Hornet
  • CL500


Reservation

  • Reserve online only. Only 1 reservation per model per account possible.
  • 1 model initially at launch, a second model to follow in November
  • Reservation is with specific dealer – can’t be transferred
  • £99/99 Euro fully refundable fee
  • Order at dealer from launch with a reservation only
  • Must be used within 14 days, else Honda will refund the fee to prospect
  • Upon ordering the fee is also refunded to prospect
  • Upon ordering, the dealer can still do some changes to initially reserved model
  • Depending on the dealer – orders could be placed via phone
  • Only credit cards accepted for the reservation fee (Visa or Mastercard)
  • Customers can cancel and reserve again, as many times as they want, using the same account

Refund

  • Automated process
  • DX Team manual process if refund fails
  • GDPR = the customer has to confirm 3 pieces of personal information: reservation number; full name; email address. Do not share customer information with 3rd parties.
  • Once the refund has been manually processed in Worldpay, agent needs to update SAP back office (as shown in detailed process)
  • Customer to receive the money back within 5 working days.
