For now, it is not possible to add your car via the My Account directly. You can do this through the My Honda+ app and afterwards, view it in the My Account section on the website. Therefore, you would first need to pair your vehicle to the My Honda+ app. After completing this first step, when logging into to the online My Account section, you should be able to see your digital service record, in the "My Cars" section, automatically. This will allow you to save the car without having to type in the 17 character VIN each time. 

You can download the My Honda+ app from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) by searching for "My Honda+". If you have already created a Honda account, online, you can use the same username and password to log in on the My Honda+ app. Once you have logged in using the same details, you will need to accept the Terms and Conditions of the My Honda+ app in order to use it.
