Bidirectional charging is theoretically possible with the Honda e. The Honda e is one of the first in its class that has integrated V2G (Vehicle to Grid) technology into their all-electric vehicles. Basically, the Honda e is designed as a city vehicle and V2G is an option with the vehicle. For bidirectional charging, you need a Wallbox that supports this function. Currently, we do not offer a Honda wall box with this function. For more information on bidirectional charging, please see the following press release:
As a note: Basically, the Honda e only supports single-phase charging by default. A maximum of 7.4 kWh is possible per single phase. Only V2G is supported with the Honda e, V2H (Vehicle to Home) would overload the battery as the energy that can be drawn at any time is simply inadequate for this particular purpose.
